Uncommon Steps Into Fashion

Uncommon Fort Collins is proud to have been Gold Level Sponsors for the 2018 CSU Fashion Show, “Spectrum.”

Every year, the creative and hard-working design and merchandising students of Colorado State University, exhibit their collections in a complex, multi-sensory production with live models, captivating stage designs, lighting effects, music and theater.

The CSU and Fort Collins community comes together to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class in this annual, beloved event, which was sold out by the event day.

Uncommon Fort Collins supports Spectrum and the university by donating to this event, ensuring its success and longevity and by offering gift bags at the VIP pre-party complete with Uncommon’s signature items, such as our clear cold beverage tumblers and wood grained shades. Our staff attended to support the event, and we all had a fabulous time at the VIP event before the show, rubbing shoulders with our university community, and networking with people, earning the opportunity to chat about our amazing property and our unbeatable location.

Some of the highlights of the show were attire crafted from old parachutes, cutting edge prom apparel as well as playful and colorful children’s clothing and elegant men’s attire. Two of the winners were offered international internships, where they will be able to extend their study by working overseas. We had one of our very own residents working on the stage design of the show, and we were so impressed with her hard work and ingenuity. The event was called Spectrum to not only touch on the diverse array of styles and design but also

to celebrate everyone’s differences and unique creativity.

Uncommon Fort Collins is thrilled to have helped make Spectrum possible, and we are proud to be supporting members of Colorado State University and the talented artists that work so hard to make the fashion show possible.
